Finished the trim around the porch window. Looks good and really was not too much trouble to install.

The structural beams are now covered with birch plywood and stained cherry to match the kitchen cabinets.

This is the beam in the studio containing the lighting fixture which provides ambient light for the room. There was never a real plan for how to hide the fixtures but, in the end, I think it worked out nicely.
